The joys of blogging.

I am a writer--consigned to advertising, but a writer nonetheless. As the year comes to a close, I have done what writers are meant to do: I have written--on deadline--virtually everyday this entire year--over 600 blog entries and a fair bit of copy.

If you're reading this--this inconsequential entry--thanks. And Happy fucking new year.

  1. As I started to become a regular visitor to your blog, I was truly amazed at how you posted at least once a day. But then I thought back (waaaaay back) to when we were partners and remembered how every day you would come in to work and share a bit of wisdom, an interesting fact or observation about the advertising world...or just the world at large. Given that this was during the pre-internet era, I suppose myself and a few others at the office (and of course the wifey) were your only "readers" at the time.

Well I guess my point here is that I'm glad that now many more people get to share in your Georgisms and that you haven't gotten older, but even more consistently insightful. And let's face it, "regularity" of any sort at our age is a good thing.

So keep 'em coming George! And Happy Fucking New Year to you as well.
