A bit of poetry.
This is by William Carlos Williams a poet from the last century who knew how to find and take delight and joy in little things. These days we could all learn from his example.
This Is Just To Say
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast.
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold.

Now, I have re-written it. By a deposed banker in 2009.
This Is Just To Say, II
I have taken
home the
128 thousand dollar
carpet in my office
which was
paid for
with taxpayer money.
Forgive me
but my shit,
doesn't
stink.
