Advertising Age has a slide show of the ten best print ads of 2008 according to MRI Starch.
http://adage.com/mediaworks/article?article_id=135148 Surprisingly, the ads are less odious than I would have imagined. Nothing that would make your portfolio, of course. And three of the ten top-scoring ads were created by in-house agencies. No wonder our business is in arrears.
Those are the best ads? I must say, in an industry big on over-thought masturbatory concepts, these are pretty benefit-driven. Who'd of thunk it?
