A double-entendre.
This is from The New York Times: "South Carolina Governor Apologizes to Staff"
And two decades or so ago I remember this one from The Wall Street Journal: "Woman CEO ousted in broad restructuring."
I am usually the one snickering with these. Comments like "Get your mind out of the gutter" or "You would think like that" have been commonplace in my life, especially when I broke 40. Thanks for the titter.
