We made the next round.
On a new business pitch I helped out on.
We are speaking to the prospective client now, who began our conversation with this loaded phrase: "Thank you for your submission."
At least they bothered to acknowledge you. Some big organizations don't even tell you you've lost, even if you've been shortlisted; they just announce it on their websites.
