I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by
madness, working on consumer packaged goods,
dragging themselves sleepy through deadened powerpoint in conference
rooms at dawn noon and night,
looking for a breath of life
angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly
connection to something real, something needed
who poverty and tatters and egoistic bosses and ass-covering
clients and glib CEOs burn and burn and burn,
