This has just come to my attention. And I must say I'm surprised and maybe even a little befuddled. A magazine called "Business Insider," has just named me among the world's "22 most influential advertising bloggers." Naturally, I have never heard of "Business Insider." For all I know its readership may be even less than mine. However, as my old man used to say, "it's better than a poke in the eye with an account guy's elbow."
God knows you say what many of us think. Only you state it much more articulately. Congrats on the well-deserved recognition.
You mix personal experiences and feelings with knife sharp analysis. You dare to occasionally bite the hand that feeds you. I think yo may be the only gainfully employed person who actually dares to sometimes openly criticize the realities of the job. Smart agencies and clients listen rather than slam down on it. You're never boring. And sometimes completely ingenious.
Downright hilariously funny. Oh, how I miss working with you.
